  1. you need to exercise to get your heart pumping CONTINUOUSLY and keep it at that level for a period of time walking, jogging, rowing, swimming, cycling are good examples of cardio exercises. tennis, bowling, etc. are not since to tend to stop and go. the heart needs to sustain the higher the level of pumping for it to be of cardio benefit.
  2. You are overweight because you are not getting Balance Nutrition. In our diet we have excess of Calories in terms of Freid foods, white flour like rice, maida based and fast foods and deficiancy of Nutrients like Protein, vitamins and minerals, fibers, herbs and water. If you want to decreases excess automatically deficiancy also get decreases. It is difficult to get Balance Nutrition.
