Anyone know what are good workouts to do in the gym to strengthn my hockey shot?
Iv been lifting for about a year and have gotten alot stronger, but i wanted to know if anyone knows of specific workouts that i can do during my weight training that will help improve the power i get in both wrist and slap shots. Also, what are the best leg workouts or skating.

- work out your deltoids on your shoulders and for your legs squats are the best.
- lunges are good for legs, squits are to but they can hurt your knees. for ur shot get a medicine ball and throw it sideways at a wall like your taking a slapshot at it, and the recieve it and throw it agina. also work on ur wrists for the wrist shot.
- Do lots of wrist curls and bichept curls.....no matter what anyone says these ar most important.....and dont just stay in the gym either....work on your shooting outside and work on your flexebility. check this site out: http://www.sports-training.wetpaint.com
