Workouts??
hiya i've started my diet today of promax weight loss drinks, and they have worked for me really well last time ( I've put some of that weight back on) , but i never really exercised last time.
I was wondering if anyone knew a workout which is best for weight loss. I'm aware it needs to be cardiovascular.
But for how long? etc
I have a cycling machine and live next to a field (park) so cycling and running is no problem if required in the workout??
How long should i cycle or run?
what resistance should i cycle on?
What are the best forms of sit-ups (cruches)
And i have no acces to a gym, in my local area. However have acces to a 25m swimming pool.
I have around a month and a half to loose a stone and a half, hence me purchasing the promax drinks.
Sorry it's a bit long
Best answer will get 10 points!!!
Thanks in advanced

- Just do something that keeps your heart elevated for 20-30 minutes a day. The particular execise doesn't matter as long as the heart is pumping
- 10 for arobic and about 5 mins for phsical
- cardio is the main thing for working out in fat loss and stamina strength but the best cardio exercise is running or cycling for about 20-50 minuits a day ans sit ups crunches, reverse crunches. start with the lowest resistance then start to get faster. good luck!
- brisk walk around your park 1-2 hrs a day..as for your swimming and cycling schedules,i leave it to you..
- they BEST way to lose weight is to long distance jogging. (treadmills are hard on your knees). Go jogging for 25-30 minutes 6 days a week around the park. (Leave one day for total rest) Its is great that you have a cycling machine because in my opinion that is the second best way to lose weight. you can go as hard as you need without worrying about the rest of your body. Do cyling for 30-35 minutes on the same days as your jogging. as for resistance, doesnt matter. the main key is getting your heart rate up to the ideal fat burning zone. here is how to find that zone that you need to be in: 220-(your age) x (.75) = ________ this should be your heart rate for the entire duration of your cardio exercise in order to burn fat effectively and quickly. as for abs......... abs: here is the best formula for a rock hard chiseled 6 pack it will hit your abs hard from every direction. here's is what you got to do: for exercises, here are the best: -lower abs: lying leg lifts. when this gets too easy, do it on the pullup bar with a weight between your legs -upper abs: crunches on an exercise ball (you can buy one from a sporting goods store) or just to it on a surface where your upper back hangs off the edge, like an armchair. -the entire abs: (THIS IS PAINFULL AND HIGHLY EFFECTIVE!!) lie on an exercise ball on your lower back and with both arms, hold a weight plate above your chest (arms locked). lift your waist up and down using your ab power. this exercise seriously kills. do up to 30 reps for 3 sets. -the entire abs: abe rollers: these seriously strengthen youre core and by the end of this, youll be begging for mercy. but youve got one more exercise to go! -obliques- trunk twists. or crunches on an exercise ball or decline bench. touch your elbow to the opposite knee on the way up trust me, these exercises are highly effective! make sure you buy the exercise ball from a sports store is is highly effective for acheiving perfection in your core area.
- It can be high or low intesity. If you do high intensity CV activities such as skipping, do it for about 10 minutes (not all at one go, say 2 minutes, rest for 30 seconds, another 2 minutes......so on). If you do medium or low intensity activity than do it for about 20 minutes and make sure you keep your pulse raised to about 50% of your max pulse. Max pulse = 220bpm - your age Just remember keep the dieting going, since the best way to lose weight/fat is to exercise and keep a healthy diet. Good luck.
