  2. Yes, box jumps are good, but sometimes not conveniently found in most homes. In track, we jump up and down five flights of stairs. I really think that this would be similar to box jumping, try skipping 1-2 steps per jump, don't fall though! Also leg exorcises like running up and down stairs (make sure to get a knee brace because it is really hard on knees, even box jumps are) or others like swimming or squats should even help strengthen leg muscles.
