body building?

when i workout i do like 3 exercises for each group i do three sets of 9-12 and i can barely get the 12th its heavy weights one up but the next day i dont feel sore. what does that mean. when i workout after im done I DONT FEEL SORE i do 3 sets of 9-12 and 3 exercises per muscle and can barely get the 12th one up

  1. Well muscles grow when you tear the muscle then it regrows wich is why you are sore the day after you made slight tears in wich more muscle will fill out causing you muscles to expand. The reason you are sore may be because you are not doung enough try to spread out the time that you workout so your not as worn out.
  2. If you're stretching your muscles before the workout, then you shouldn't be sore.
