Heavy Ebayers-Is it safe to buy fitness equipment from ebay?

I am looking to buy a leg magic system. I'm a broke college student so I have to watch my money. They are typically $130 plus tax and shipping, unless I bought one locally. On ebay, I have found them for $10 plus $50 shipping and handling which is a little less than half the price. The sellers have high positive feedback are stating that you can buy insurance, but if anything breaks during shipping, they are not responsible. I'd rather not pay $50 for something that may end up broken, even by accident. I'd rather pay the $130 and be assured that the company will deal with problems if there are any but that would be a huge price for what I make. What would you reccomend?

  1. As long as its new It should be fine. If it breaks during shipping and you purchased insurance during shipping. The company or the shipper has to pay for the item.
  2. i would suggest getting something USEFUL off craigslist instead. You do know that leg magic is useless right? Unless you supplement it with cardio to lose fat, you will just end up with bigger legs because you gained muscle. Plus, on craigslist, you can see what you buy before you buy it.
