how old do you have to be to go to gyms???

- To my understanding 15 or 16 years of age. To early can stunt your growth. If you do start early do not go heavy on the weights. Do light weight with a lot of reps. This will give you good body tone and strength.
- some say you should not start heavy lifting until you are 17. it damages your tendons and may stunt your growth ever seen those guys with bent elbows. I wud say around 14 you cud start doing high number of reps lower weight and deinatley alot of pushups and situps and pullups.
- I think most gyms you need to be 18 or older.
