  1. Sure. Go to either of these sites for links to the best: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) www.acsm.org or National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) http://www.nsca-cc.org/about_cred/cscs.html
  2. Science behind body building? http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/index.html http://bodybuilding.about.com/ http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dean1.htm I don't recommend a book unless your looking for the anatomy and physiology part of it. I have put in some links to follow and suggest to pick up some magazines. The art and science of body building change very frequently. That's why I don't recommend a book. Now the physiology and anatomy part http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/anatomyandphysiology.htm this link seems like a good one to follow. Again the physiology part of it doesn't change that much so you can pick up some good books in the medical sections. Bad thing about that is that sometimes though books need extra training or knowledge to understand them. The one book I would recommend. I have read several of them and find that the do cover some good information to help the lay person understand the more technical. Is the body building for dummies books. Follow link below. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/paul4.htm
  3. Arnold Swartanagger's book is supposed to be ok. Bear in mind the guy is talking from years of experience and he is very old school on his approach to training.
