Is there a place that sells used fitness equipment for cheap, other than ebay?

I'm considering getting a total gym, but don't want to pay full price.

  1. Not that I know of.
  2. Play it again sports. They may have some stuff.
  3. Garage sales.
  4. HomeFit
  5. Local newspapers. I sold my treadmill that way for cheap.
  6. Try Bargain Finder, Craigslist, call local gyms to see if they are selling any equipment they don't need anymore, they are always replacing things.
  7. you would want to buy something in your area. Check the newspaper for companies going out of business or downsizing. And also sometimes those places that sell it new can also be selling it used. You said you are "considering getting a total gym"..first take three months to do your five-year small business plan, and take a sba.gov course in your area (maybe someone there might have some suggestions for you), and then you can determine how much money you will have to spend for that equipment.
  8. There are a few options. Check out a used sports equipment store (Play It Again Sports). Watch for great deals in your local newspaper for people trying to dump their stuff on the cheap (either moving sales or has gone unused). The only other option I can think of is pawn shops, though unlikely, some of the larger ones will stock the top-of-the-line variety. Hope that helps.
  9. Look in your local papers. There all always people selling weight equipment. Yard sales.
